Quick & Polished Brows
June 11, 2009 - Filed in Tips & Tricks, Tutorials

If I’m pressed for time in the morning the one thing that I make sure I do is my eyebrows. Throw on some mascara and I’m ready to go.  I’m going to post how I do my eyebrows, but everyone does them differently. You can use a pencil, a shadow, or even both. Whatever floats your boat. It’s all about how defined you want them to look.

Brow Box

All I’m using this time is the Brow Box from Urban Decay. It retails for about $29.00 at Ulta and is totally worth it, in my opinion. Before I had this though I just used Brun eyeshadow from MAC and MAC’s Brow set. Like I said, it’s all personal preference.

Start off with a completely bare face and brow. I like to add an eyeshadow primer to my lid AND my brow since I’m using eyeshadow. I want it to last all day and not smudge. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance… but you can use UDPP, a MAC paint pot, any kind of base.

Then all you’re going to to is take either a flat top eyeliner brush or an angled one, I prefer angled because I feel like I get more control of what I’m doing and where I’m putting it. You’re going to want to line the top and the bottom of your brow, like this :

Then all you do is fill in between the lines that you made with the eyeshadow. I like to add concealer all around the brow to make it a little more defined and to cover up anything that might have fallen off or if I went a little too far with the lines, just to clean it up a bit.

Finish up with any kind of brow setting gel/liquid, add some mascara.

4And that’s it! Probably takes me around 5 mins to do it all, reallly quick and easy and makes you look polished and awake, even if you didn’t have time to do an entire look.
