Well, Christmas is finally over! It hasn’t really felt like Christmas for me, I’ve been working a ton. I was lucky to get Christmas Eve off for once. I actually spent it helping a friend paint her apartment, since my family doesn’t do anything on Christmas Eve. It came out really good- she couldn’t paint the entire room, so we did accent walls, red in the kitchen and brown in the living room. I stayed over there until around 11PM came home.

Christmas day was awesome. Woke up early and opened presents with my family. I got this bedding that I talked about in a previous post. The European and throw pillows were backordered though so I’m waiting for those to come before I show it off. It’s SO comfy though. I got brand new pillows and sheets as well as a mattress pad and a few other bedding related things. I also got some sweaters and camis to go under them, Miranda Lambert’s new CD…normal stocking toiletries and gift cards. It was overall a great Christmas. I hope everyone else had a good Christmas as well! What did you get?

I haven’t been motivated to wear makeup or do my nails or anything girly, so if I do blog it will be just that…a blog. I shaved off a piece of one of my fingernails, so I haven’t wanted to paint them. I’ve also had some sort of stomach bug so I’ve been doing the bare minimum makeup wise because I’d rather lay in bed instead of getting ready. Hopefully that will change though.

It’s almost New Years…got any resolutions? I always make some and end up breaking them- just the usual stuff like eating better, saving money, cutting back on my soda, etc. I MIGHT (that’s a big MIGHT, here) try to quit smoking. Not likely though.

Onto another bad habit of mine- compulsive shopping. Although most of the time I buy things I need (work clothes, jeans, etc) and things I actually use, I just buy things to buy them. I just spent $350.00 at Torrid.com, and I don’t really know what I bought…haha. A few pairs of chonies, a ‘Save The Ta Tas’ tee and some work shirts. Which I didn’t need… I just wanted to buy something.

I’m off to smoke and then shower so I don’t make my new bedding smell like smoke. Makes sense, right?
