Don’t you love random surprises? I sure do! Like… say for instance, you wake up this morning and go to your dentist’s office for a cleaning and exam that you scheduled the day before and you leave with a root canal. Don’t you love that shit?!

Apparently my tooth was so bad that they had to whisk me away from the hygienist before she even got to clean my teeth and do an “emergency” root canal. It all went down fine and dandy, didn’t feel a thing and now I have my gross, gritty temporary cap on my tooth until they make me one from the impressions they took. The whole process went fine but I was not a happy camper, I have to mentally prepare myself for those kinds of things. I didn’t even get laughing gas to make me forget what was going on. Getting to see all the stuff he was doing, not to mention hear it and hear him explaining it? Yeah, I could have done without that. I’ve never had to have that kind of stuff done, like I said when I got my wisdom teeth taken out- that was the worst thing I’ve ever had to get done. It was just weird seeing him stick a bunch of stuff into my tooth that never came out, and all the drilling and dust that kept flying out of my mouth. =x I got a few fillings too, which I really needed. I’m thankful that I can get stuff like this that I do need done though, because I know a lot of people can’t afford to go to the doctor or the dentist or whatever. So I’m always grateful for that.

He didn’t give me any pain medicine this time though so I am sitting here at the computer with a bag of frozen peas on my face. They’re actually not very frozen anymore and are dripping on me.. the cold still helps though. I’ve been taking Ibuprofen like they’re candy and haven’t eaten because I’m afraid to chew on that temporary cap. This just needs to turn into an “All the shit my dentist does to me” blog, he’s a really cute dentist though so he could knock out all my teeth with a hammer and I’d say “Do it again!”.

Other than that, I’ve just been working, working, working like a crazy person. Which is good since I have all my shopping sprees and dentist visits that need to be paid off now. My family is also planning a trip! We’re going back to my hometown of Fresno, California in July. Probably will stay the whole month or really close to it. It always sucks having family so far away because we hardly ever see them, we went last Summer though so hopefully it can turn into a once a year thing at least. I am so excited for some beach time, and of course In N Out! Some people might not know what that is and I suggest you educate yourself. BEST BURGERS EVER! I’m hoping to get a better digital camera before I go so I can get some really awesome pictures. I’ve heard good things about the Canon Rebel…and other suggestions?

I think I’m just trying to ramble on and on to make myself forget the fact that my bag of peas isn’t working anymore and my tooth really hurts. I’ll probably be in bed watching Dog the Bounty Hunter episodes until I fall asleep or someone in this house wakes up so I can have some company.
