I don’t really know what provoked it, but this morning I decided I want to go on a cruise. I started with a simple Google search and found a few websites to look at and to price. I sent my best friend a text that said “We’re going on a cruise, you down?” She said “I’m game!” So, now we’re planning it.
My question- have you or someone you know ever been on a cruise? Where did you go? Have any websites with really good deals on them?
I’m beyond excited for it. I need a break, big time. It will be my first time in FOUR years going on a “vacation” as a single girl!
We’ll see how that goes.
In other news- today is the first time since Wednesday that I’ve gotten out of bed.
I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted Wednesday and I’ve been so lazy since then. The extraction itself went perfectly. I’ve been terrified of the dentist since I was really little. Now, I do go to get fillings and cleanings and all that, but I’ve never had to have anything major done. My bottom left wisdom tooth was impacted and started causing me lots and lot of pain, to the point that I couldn’t even function at work. So, I decided to put my big girl panties on and go get it taken care of.
I was a lot less scared than I thought I was going to be, the only time I cried during the whole thing was when he took the impacted one out, and I could see how far he had to stretch my mouth to get to it. My lip was all the way to my ear… it was not cool.
But, I’m good now and going back to work tomorrow!
This is just a jumbled mess of crap, I’m sorry! Trying to get back into the whole blogging thing.
I’ve been posting nail pictures on my Flickr (links are below this post). I also posted some recent purchases on my Flickr as well.

I am so glad to hear that getting your wisdom teeth out is not to much of a big deal. I have a couple of cavities and need my wisdom teeth out. I went as far as going to the dentist for a check-up (which is how I found out they need to come out) but I was terrified to go back and get it done. I have been putting it off forever now. Glad yours went so well. Makes me a little less scared lol.
Glad the extraction went well! And a cruise!! I am so jealous. My parents just came back from one that they booked last minute so they got a great deal. They also said it was the nicest cruise ship they have ever been on (Celebrity Cruises was the name of the line). I have never been so other than that I have nothing to offer but jealousy!!
I hear you on needing a vacation! I would give anything for one right now. Never been on a cruise though. My dentist has mentioned my wisdom teeth a couple of times and I am 100% avoiding that, it sounds so traumatic! Congrats for getting it over with though!
Iman- My only advice would be not to avoid extraction like I did. Don’t wait until it going to be an emergency that you need to get taken care of, because there really is no use for those teeth. Mine all grew in fine but one got impacted and was infected and hurting my jaw to the point that I couldn’t function at work. Don’t wait for anything similar to happen to you!
Jennifer- The one I found is 4 nights in the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean for $230.00, all inclusive. From all the other prices I’ve seen, that’s really good.
Kristen- I was SO nervous up until the day I went in. I honestly didn’t feel ANYTHING, not even the pressure he told me I would feel. If you need your wisdom teeth out, don’t wait to do it- like I already said above. They will make sure you’re comfortable and it’s as pain-free as possible!
I hope your teefers are all better.
OMG, a cruise sounds soooo good. I’ve never been, but I really want to go.
